The polyurethane division designs and manufactures polyurethane foaming moulds.
The moulds can be made either of aluminium casting or of alternative materials for pre-series or prototypes. QS Group’s range of manufactured moulds also includes moulds with pneumatically driven undercuts with ball bushing and sliding guides. The moulds can be thermoregulated through air convection by means of heated air or through water by means of stainless steel pipes inside the casting.
The polyurethane division is equipped with 3D CAM and CAD systems for mould designing and machinin through state-of-the-art 5-axis CNC machines. The dimensional control through CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) certifies the quality of the mould and the entire manufacturing process.
